Private charters allow the customer to design the appropriate cruise package for the given event. The customer has the opportunity to choose from departure locations, tour routes, destinations, layovers and a wide variety of food and drink packages. When attempting to choose between a seated meal or a standing cruise, a client must determine the event's mission. If the objective is to host a more social setting, a hors d'oeuvres or buffet cruise is most appealing. If a more formal evening is desired, a seated meal should be chosen. Milwaukee River Cruise Line emphasizes its flexibility to serve the customer's desire to provide a memorable experience.

Edelweiss has the ability to dock at multiple locations throughout the city of Milwaukee. Edelweiss reserves it's flexibility to pick up and drop off clients to accommodate their schedule as well as their events mission. The Edelweiss commonly provides dinner cruises, private brewery tours, post wedding ceremony cruises, and receptions that request multiple drop off and pick up locations.

The Edelweiss cruise vessels can be characterized as a banquet hall on the water. Each vessel has a bar, galley, two bathrooms, an enclosed heated and air conditioned cabin and two outside viewing decks.
Entertainment Options
Milwaukee River Cruise Line has relationships with musicians and live talent throughout the Milwaukee area to add additional ambiance to your private event. Jazz musicians, DJ's, karaoke, and acoustic guitarists have all provided entertainment aboard private parties, weddings, rehearsal dinners as well as cocktail cruises. A PA system is available for announcements and speeches. We also have a sound system equipped with a CD player available to all private clients.

Milwaukee River Cruise Line is Milwaukee's premiere cruise boat company featuring the Edelweiss cruise boats offering privately chartered and public cruises. Milwaukee River Cruises Line operates two European style canal boats named Edelweiss I and II with a cruising capacity of up to 149 passengers. The European style construction allows the vessels to navigate under bridges through the heart of downtown Milwaukee providing passengers with outstanding views of the city and lakefront. Each vessel houses a gallery, fully staffed bar as well as two restrooms.
